We are a growing church. We are so thankful to God that since 2023 our average attendance has almost doubled and our number of kids and youth has increased as well. This growth means that we need to grow our capacity in our staffing team.
We are also a church that's committed to raising up Gospel workers for the harvest either here, in the rest of Australia or around the world.

A chosen ministry area could be (but not limited to):
The role would be shaped in line with the candidates skills, the needs of St John's, and the financial capacity of St John's.
We are looking for someone who:

A truly relational, intergenerational community from diverse cultural backgrounds where most people belong to home groups and actively maintain connections as a church family. We want to be a community hub that reaches and keeps families and is a place where we can invite friends.

A gospel growing church where there is a vibrant prayer focus on God’s will for church and community. A place where we believe in encouraging, using, supporting and rejoicing in each other’s gifts and we
gather to spur one another on to grow in our belief in our sovereign Lord.

A church that trains its members to become more Christ-like, to proclaim Christ boldly and to use our diverse gifts to serve the Lord Jesus. We want to become a church that resources children’s and youth ministry, including RI in schools. We gather to spur one another on to grow in our belief in our sovereign Lord.
